I want to say Tintin because technically he is an action movie character but not sure this is what you meant, did you? Another contender would be Korben Dallas in the Fifth Element. He's focused, he doesn't waste his words, he gets the job done.

Elephant Man. I was really, really, really young. I didn't understand everything but I remember feeling truly depressed afterwards. The Fearless Vampire Killers is another one. To be fair, I thought it was just a cheeky, British comedy with vampires. Weird and intriguing. I would not say I was disappointed but I didn't sleep right for a while after that.

Fido. Zombies have become pet, the mother starts to have feelings for this new addition to their family. One of the most underrated and creative zombies film out there.

Night of the Living Dead is one of my favorites, I'm not a complete liar. But, I will confess I have done many more rewatch of Shrek. Just. It happens, you know? You don't know what to watch? Put on Shrek.
